It has been a real pleasure reading the happenings at Bentsen
Grove.   We can't come but reading about others make it all seem
closer.  I wish you could keep it up for the past citizens of Bentsen
since for whatever reason we can not be with and all the wonderful
activities. Frank is in a Nursing Home and me I go see him, mow 4
acres and all the rest.
Thanks for your work.

Wilma Mueller, A47 - First of all I want to thank Barbara for all the time she spends getting all the news out. Doesn't she do a great job? Well, summer is winding down so we are all looking forward to all the activities we will be having this winter. I really will be glad to have our card buddies back.  We welcome back all the friends we have made over the years & for the ones we will make this season. We have had a very dry summer, but doesn't the park look great?   It was an effort to keep anything green. We had a taste of Indian summer last week, but it has warmed up again. Isn't that Texas for you? I really miss all the seasons. The new Walgreen's finally opened  a couple of weeks ago & we will have a few more new places this winter. There seems to be a lot of new places to eat. Guess they know the :"Winter Texans" eat out a lot. A big WELCOME to those who have arrived & those who will come later. Have lots of fun this winter!!

Barb Goff A26   Time to say “good by” until the spring. This is the last News Letter until April..During the winter months I check this mail box about every other week but if you want to send me a personal message, use this address      bobbig2@sbcglobal.net

The summer just flew by and I’m sure that the winter will go just as quickly . Today we are having a taste of fall  - in the 70’s and sunny. The Halloween party last night was another fun filled evening at Bentsen Grove. The spooks were out in full force – lots of great costumes and yummy finger foods. Tomorrow is biscuits and gravy plus scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls and bagels. This Saturday we are having an all Park yard sale.

See you soon. Have a safe journey to your Winter Home.
